The Philosophy
SOKAL exists at the intersection of connoisseurship and commerce. We believe that the finest objects are not merely bought and sold — they are stewarded. Each piece that passes through our hands carries a history, and our role is to understand that history deeply before placing it in new hands.
We specialise in objects that reward close attention: the horological complexity of a hand-wound movement, the patina of a well-aged cabinet, the tonal character of a vintage driver. These are things that cannot be replicated and should not be rushed.
How We Work
Every acquisition begins with provenance. We research each piece independently, consulting specialists and primary sources where necessary. We do not list items we cannot vouch for, and we describe condition honestly — including imperfections.
Sales are conducted privately and discreetly. We welcome enquiries by phone or message and are happy to arrange viewings, answer detailed questions, and discuss payment arrangements on significant pieces.
